With the core focus on innovation management, the development of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), IT Security, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Extended Reality (XR) and their applications lead the market in the creation of ecosystems in our capital region.
A growing ecosystem is characterised by the interaction of different players, from scientific institutions to SMEs, large companies to our lively startup scene.
Through the development of ecosystems, communities and networks are created. Our team has initiated a portfolio of Meetup formats that are implemented together with our network partners, depending on the focus. We work closely with with the community on a regular basis. Existing ecosystems are strengthened and expanded and new networks are initiated. We promote ideas and projects, accompany consortia and support partners from science and business.
The cluster acts as a platform for knowledge and technology transfer, funding and collaboration. The focus is on growth for our capital region: Seizing opportunities by means of innovations, opening up markets, creating jobs and attracting talent from all over the world to our capital region that is our mission.

MR4Business - Mixed Reality for Business
Within the guidelines of the Innovation Strategy Berlin and Brandenburg 2025 it is important to think more broadly about innovations and keep an eye on regionalisation. The WIR!Bündnis MR4B was created by accompanying the application process as well as workshops and the development of project ideas.
The cluster management supported companies and research institutions in the program WIR!Bundnis “Change through innovation in the region”. The task was to develop around 20 project ideas to define Mixed Reality and AI applications for medium-sized companies.
