The Fashion industry uses XR technologies to design, market and sell their products. There is for example much potential in how new technologies, such as 3D scanners or AR, can offer new solutions for virtually trying on clothes before actually buying them. In the metaverse, fashion items are already being sold in virtual shops and used by avatars.
Join us for our first Fashion & XR breakfast meetup to reflect on some of the following questions: What are the possibilities and challenges that come with digital fashion? What is the current status and where is it heading to? What are the business opportunities in this field? And how can Berlin Partner and VRBB support the Fashion & XR community in Berlin?
We invite experts from the digital fashion industry to join us! The idea is to provide a platform for networking and for sharing experiences with each other.
At the beginning of the meetup participants are asked to introduce themselves in one minute to the rest of the group. After that we will have short impulse lectures from two invited experts to stir up the discussion. Possible follow ups and next steps will be discussed towards the end of the meeting. The number of participants is limited to 30.
