Berlin-based start-up Re-Fresh Global triumphed at the Re-Fashion Foundation's Recycle Summit in Paris, winning the innovation prize with its enzymatic separation technology, which is designed to process textile waste on a large scale and produce high-quality materials. Brands can integrate these into their supply chains.
Re-Fashion is an eco-organization, i.e. a private, non-profit company recognized by the public authorities and financed by membership fees. Since 2008, it has been responsible for the prevention and management of the end-of-life of clothing textiles, household linen and footwear on the French market and organizes the collection, repair and reuse of textile material flows.
