In the visionary Musee Dezentral, digital art is rethought and made universally experienceable.
As one of the first NFT projects of its kind, the virtual Musee Dezentral opens up innovative ways of curating non-fungible tokens online. The "Metaverse Museum", implemented via state-of-the-art 3D technologies, presents itself as a unique meeting place for art lovers, exhibitors and NFT collectors from all over the world.
The Berlin-based start-up RAVE.SPACE thus implements the vision of a new way of representing art on the blockchain that revolutionises the exchange between art creators and art collectors - without borders and completely free of the restrictions of physical space.
Decentralised blockchain technology brings artists and art fans together uniquely
Musee Decentral is based on a customised graphics engine that allows access from any device - whether a conventional smartphone or the latest VR technology.
Via the three-dimensional walk-through of the museum, 222 unique frames can be discovered in different exhibition spaces and on different levels. Each frame gives the NFT owner access to a space on the wall of the museum and the opportunity to display a work of art.
To do this, the frame owner can connect their Wallet and display any NFT from their collection. The size of the frame is automatically adjusted to any aspect ratio.
The Future of Street Art, Stolen Art and Urban Art at the Metaverse Musee
Decentral shows impressive future potential for art makers, art collectors and museum visitors at the Metaverse. Artists can curate their own online exhibitions, increasing their reach far beyond traditional channels. Like the FLINT* exhibition, curated by Stacie Ant, which features works by femme, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender and many other identities.
Since its soft launch on 1 Dec 2021, Musee Dezentral will present changing exhibitions of different artists from 15 Feb 2022. In March, the well-known CryptoKitties designer and NFT pioneer Guile Twardowski plans to exhibit his works. In perspective, Musee Dezentral will be expanded to include other galleries dealing with street art, stolen art and other approaches to urban art.
