The round was led by Vektor Partners and Brandenburg Kapital, a subsidiary of the Brandenburg development bank ILB. The company plans to invest the capital in further growth and product development. Peregrine Technologies develops AI-based software for traffic video analysis.
About Peregrine Technologies GmbH
The company was founded in 2019 by Dr Naja von Schmude, Jorit Schmelzle and Dr Steffen Heinrich, who all come from the automotive industry. With their software, they want to provide drivers, fleet operators and service providers such as insurance companies with context-based information - in other words, an overview of what is happening in a vehicle's environment and why. Peregrine says it is already working with logistics and insurance companies in Europe.
