City of Potsdam continues its commitment to MediaTech Hub

MediaTech Hub Potsdam Management GmbH has been commissioned by the Brandenburg state capital Potsdam to coordinate the MediaTech Hub Potsdam (MTH Potsdam) for another three years. The MTH Potsdam is the only digital competence location in the field of media technologies in Germany and produces innovative lighthouse projects. This unique position is now to be further utilised, expanded and strengthened.

As part of a Europe-wide tender, the city of Potsdam awarded the contract to MediaTech Hub Potsdam Management GmbH for the first time in July 2018 to coordinate Germany's only digital hub for media technologies and thus strengthen entrepreneurship and the start-up scene at the media location. This contract will be extended by the state capital for a further three years from July 2021. In addition, Potsdam will also become more involved in start-up initiatives and in future will also support the MTH Accelerator, founded in 2019, as an official partner of the programme.
